We see Hartsville's First Baptist as a church that equips members to love God, love people, and make disciples that are equipped to bring the life-transforming good news about Jesus to people in our city, state, nation, and the world. Values 1. Christ-Centered. Jesus is Lord and we need to honor Him and glorify the Father. John 6:68-69; 2 Corinthians 4:5 2. Biblically-Based. The Scriptures are the word of God and our guide for living a Christ-like life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 15:4 3. Others-Focused. People matter to God and to us. Galatians 5:13; John 13:34-35 4. Spirit-Filled. We know that it is only through the power of God the Holy Spirit that we can fulfill His mission and vision for us. Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 5:18; Acts 1:8 |
